Boat Study: digital, colour
Taken with my Panasonic Lumix TZ70, in JPEG intelligent auto mode . This is a relatively old digital compact camera by today’s standards (released in 2015). I bought it new in 2016 and continue to use it to this day. Even though it only has a 1/2” CMOS 12MP sensor, it produces good images. The reason for buying this camera was it’s small/light size, ability to shoot RAW, and EVF (electronic viewfinder). I keep it in a tiny Lowepro case (about 15cm x 11cm x 6cm) and it’s still my go-to travel camera.
These images have been processed in Adobe Lightroom, which involved levels/curves and some sharpening.
I have another gallery from the same shoot, with different images processed as black & white. Initially I was drawn to the boats because of the colours involved and the structural details, so it made sense to shoot with these two aspects in mind.
